Cayden had her birthday party yesterday and she had such a great time. We did a smaller party with just family and close friends. Who am I kidding...even with just family there were twelve children ranging from 11 months to 14 years! We did a Valentine theme this year and for an activity we did cookie decorating. The Martha Stewart in me spent a couple hours friday night making cookies and Cayden helped cut them out into different sized hearts. I then made homemade icing and used food dye to make different colors. I found these awesome containers at Walmart for $1 each! They were perfect for storing the cookies. I wish she'd have a Valentine theme every year. It's so much less expensive compared to character parties. We got adorable heart plates from the dollar store. 20 plates for $1! The stuff she picks every year from the party store is usally $3 for 8 plates!
Here are some pictures from her party. I still can't believe she'll be 4 on tuesday. I'm sure I'll have plenty of baby to 4 year pictures to show then.
