M.I.A.

Yeah..so I'm kinda MIA on here the past couple of weeks. I've been trying to go to the gym at 5am which gives me great energy throughout the day. However at night I am just too darn tired to do much of anything. Plus I am slightly addicted to facebook right now which seems much more fun. LOL Keenan is also going back into miserable mode. Just when we thought he had much such progress. Oh the joys of that child!

Snow Day!

Cayden's Birthday Adventures!

I still can't believe my little girl is 5!! Where does the time go? For her 5th birthday we took her on an exciting trip snow tubing! We headed up towards Blue Mountain on Thursday her actual birthday. We went tubing at night and it was such a blast. We stayed overnight near by and in the morning we visited the Crayola Factory and Canal Museum (they are in the same building). Cayden had such a blast and told us it was her best birthday ever!

Crazy but fun!

I switched rooms at my job and am currently teaching preschool while the teacher is out on maternity leave. It's been crazy but such a blast! I wanted a preschool position when I started but there wasn't one open. My school has two preschool rooms. So when the regular teacher returns from maternity leave I will hopefully be going to the other preschool room because that teacher is her mother! LOL got that? She's going to stay home and take care of her new granddaughter. The kids are such a blast and I've been keeping them super busy. We've been doing "cooking" activities as well which they are really enjoying. Last week I made "banana sushi" with them.

Time for a haircut!!

Recently Cayden asked me if she could get her hair cut short. I told her absolutely not and that when she is 10 years old she can choose how she'd like her hair. Of course when she gets close to 10 I will bump that age up a bit. LOL. Anyway the past few weeks her hair was in desperate need of a good cut. I was really ignoring it at first because I just love her long hair but it started becoming full of knots 24/7. With much reluctance I went and got 3 inches cut off which is more like 4+ when they are finished. In person no-one really notices she got it cut because she just has so much!! In the b4 and after shot you can see it got a good amount cut off! In the end I'm glad I did it because her hair is SO MUCH healthier now. It's been quite some time since she even got a trim so I think it really needed this.

Pretty Pretty Princess

So...Cayden got some play makeup from Santa. I'm just wondering what the heck Santa was thinking with that gift ;) She has a blast with it. Me, not so much cleaning it off her face. The lighting isn't great so look closely to see the beautiful job on her eyes and cheeks.



So proud of her makeup job!

P.S. - Cayden made new years hats for the entire family at school including the cats!
