Look what Keenan's doing

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Keenan isn't feeling too great due to all those shots he got today (see post below). He was resting on me when he found his thumb and went to town! This is the second time he has gotten it. When I was pregnant with Keenan I did NOT want him to be a thumb sucker because Cayden is still sucking hers! Even though she mostly does it for bed (unless she finds something laying around with a tag) I still wish she'd stop! With all his fussiness since birth I gave in and gave him a pacifier (yes shocking for those who know me well since I always hated them so much!). Recently I've been hoping he'd find his thumb so he could soothe himself when he's fussy because that's pretty often! Cayden found hers at 12weeks and hasn't stopped so with Keenan at 11 weeks now I'm pretty sure he'll get better at it and then we can say goodbye to the paci!

He's a long lean machine! I could believe it when he had a paci, some babies need them, most don't, Keenan did. You're a great mom! We miss you at work. Stop by tomorrow morning if your not in too much of a rush.

Stacy, I think Emily and Cayden are long lost twins! Emily will only suck her thumb at bedtime, or unless she finds a tag too! :) Keenan may end up a thumb sucker too, but that's ok, paci or thumb sucker...as long as they're happy! You won't see our kids sucking their thumb at 12! ;)

Stacy, you know how I feel about pacifiers and thumb suckers. I agree with the other comment, whatever makes them happy and keeps babies quiet. You may not see them sucking their thumbs at 12, but he/she may still be putting themselves to sleep, sucking away. There really is no harm in though. I love your blog!
